Leni’s Playroom

Happy Friday! So excited to be on here today sharing Leni’s playroom with you all. We’ve already been enjoying it and can’t wait to continue to use it and see it change as she grows up.

This post is sponsored by Joss & Main, however all opinions are 100% my own.

I had way too much fun putting this playroom together for Leni! It was a different task from designing her nursery. When I designed her nursery I didn’t even know the gender of our sweet baby G. Now that we know Leni is Leni it was even better to get to design a space truly for her and who she is.

I pretty much stuck to the plans that I originally had for her playroom here. Plus I added in a few sentimental toys from when I was a kid like the wooden crib and “kitchen” that I hope Leni will enjoying playing with just like my sister and I did. As well as a few mementos from mine and Isaac’s childhoods onto the built in shelves.

My goal for her playroom was to make it a space she could grow into, as well as be gender neutral for future babes. Well, for the most part that is. The walls were already light pink so I kept that but added in some blues, reds and greens as well. For example her rug that Project Nursery so generously gifted. PLUS it’s a washable rug🙌🙌 How amazing is that?

The reading nook is probably my favorite part of her playroom. I have no shame when it comes to adding books to Leni’s collection. We love reading to her daily and want to foster a love of reading early on!

I believe our families have a few gifts up their sleeves that might contribute to her playroom so I will be sure to keep you updated on how this room evolves as she grows!
