Prime Day Deals!

Happy Prime Day! I told my hubs that Prime Day is like a national holiday which means it deserves it’s own post! Instead of a Buy This, Not That post it’s more like just buy it all because it’s all such a good deal.

Instant Pot // Roomba // Vince Camuto Watch // Splendid Dress // Handheld Steamer // Designer Jeans up to 60% off-love these

These are just a few of the great Prime Day deals that are out there. First things first, if you aren’t a prime member you have to be to take advantage of these amazing buys. We use our prime membership so much that I get irritated ordering online from other companies now because not only do I usually have to pay shipping but it definitely doesn’t arrive in two days! I also love Prime as I’ve started using the subscribe and save program to order things like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent that I can never remember if we’re out of when I get to the grocery store. Not only does it show up on my doorstep every month or month or two depending upon the schedule but if I subscribe to at least 5 items I get 15% off! I love a good deal-especially on things that are necessities.

Hopefully I’ve talked you into Prime by now-and no I don’t get anything if you sign up I just love my prime membership that much! Now onto some of the deals I included above: do you have a pressure cooker yet? I love mine and this is a great deal on one of the post popular ones out there. While I don’t have a roomba I’m trying to convince the hubs I need one and I’ve heard this is one of the best deals ever offered on a roomba. And one of my top, all time, must have products is a clothes steamer. I have a standing one but thinking a small handheld one would be great, especially for travel!

As far as clothing, handbag and accessory deals Amazon is having 30% off a bunch of amazing fashion deals. I listed a few up above that caught my eye but there are so, so many more!

Now get to shopping! Also, don’t forget that deals do expire and can sell out so if you see something you like act on it!

Buy This: Not That Summertime Style

Happy Monday ya’ll! I figured it was about time for another Buy This, Not That post! About a month ago I traded aobut my hobo style purse for a backpack after seeing them all over. They seemed so convenient and just “easy” for the summer season. I picked up my Rebecca Minkoff tassel backpack on serious sale (woohoo!) but I found a look a like RM at Target! How cute is this little black leather one? Not so sure about the backpack craze? I wasn’t either but now I’m hooked. It’s so much easier on my shoulders and I find I carry a lot less in my bag now because it’s not as easy to toss stuff into it 🙂

I’m all about fun, vibrant prints in the summer months especially in a jumpsuit. So easy to throw on for a fun night out, include your hat, sunnies,  and sandals and you’re ready to roll! Love this jumpsuit from Old Navy especially at that price, the Mara Hoffman one is adorable but can’t even come close to justifying that price tag!

The off the shoulder trend is heating things up this summer and I am loving it! It’s so comfortable and flattering. There’s something about showing off a woman’s collarbone that I think is so attractive and perfect for a statement necklace, how about one from Stella & Dot? Have you picked up an off the shoulder top yet?

Have you tried any of my new fave trends for this summer season? I’m loving all of them and excited to keep them on repeat while things are heating up and the sun is staying out longer!

Welcome back to a newer series of mine: Buy This Not That! To see the first installment go here. This is a shorter post but I wanted to show you some hot items this year that are seriously trending and might break your bank if you pay the full price, I’m here to save you some money and show you some seriously cute things!

If there’s one item of clothing that I’m obsessed with this fall its vests. Puffy vests to be exact. You might remember me posting about this Gap Buffalo Plaid Vest I bought a while back. Jcrew has some of the best vests around in my opinion but their price points are definitely not the best around! I found this similar vest on RiffRaff and it has a much, much better price point and is definitely just as cute. You can also save an extra 15% on your purchase with code “RIFFRAFFREPSHELBI

These earrings have been all over the place lately and it seems everyone from bloggers to celebs are wearing them! The “real” ones, Dior that is will run you a little under $300 but these others that are a fabulous dupe will run you $11.99 as they are on sale at ILY Couture now! I’m hoping for a pair in my stocking!

The Stuart Weitzman boots are also very popular across the globe but at $600 don’t fit into my budget well! I was looking for boots similar to this but was having troubles finding some that would stay up on my legs and wouldn’t slouch any and I found the perfect pair! These Vince Camutos are lovely and fit like a glove. I bought them a couple months ago and they have already got their money’s worth and will be great to wear for years to come. I ordered them from Lord & Taylor as they were the best deal I could find, they do have them at Dillards for about $30 more. To see them on me you can go here, here and here.
