Guess what?? It’s almost Friday! I posted a couple weeks ago about a couple fitness trackers I had the chance to try thanks to Verizon and wanted to come back today to talk about everyday fitness for the everyday mrs!
For me being fit is something that is important to me so I try to create a healthy lifestyle around the activities that I already or enjoy doing! Including walking my puppy…
Though I’ve posted a lot about Nova on social media this is her official debut on EverydayMrs, can’t believe how much she’s already grown since then!!
Since we brought Nova home about a month ago I’ve been trying to take her on a walk everyday even if it’s really short, she’s slowly getting better at walks so that makes our longer walks now possible 🙂 By taking even short walks everyday that count toward my steps goal I feel like that is true “everyday fitness”. Though the fitness trackers won’t make you fit on your own they may encourage you to set and reach your goals no matter how small or big they may be. It will urge you to get more steps, to stand when you’ve been sitting for long periods of time, to get more sleep and tell you more about your eating habits if you track them with the apps. I think sometimes making a small investment in something like a fitness tracker helps encourage you along as well as now you have money invested in being fit also!
Another fun way to encourage a healthy lifestyle could be buying funny fitness themed graphic tees like these my mom and I may or may not have picked up at Target one Sunday 🙂
No matter how it is you get your “steps” in on your fitness trackers-walking your dog, pure barre, running marathons just get out there and get fit by being active!
